Welcome message from the JSSHP president
JSSHP (Japan Society for the Study of Hypertension in Pregnancy) was founded in 1980. So far the congress meeting has been held annually since then. The 33rd annual meeting containing outstanding scientific programme was held in Nagasaki in 2012. More than three hundred participants (obstetricians,nephrologists,anesthetists) actively discussed about the latest research findings in preeclampsia/eclampsia and other hypertensive disorders in pregnancy.
All of members still remember that the 11th World Congress of the International Society for the Study of Hypertension in Pregnancy (ISSHP) was successfully closed in Kobe,Japan in 1998. We wish the congress of ISSHP holding in Japan again in near future.
In 2013 the JSSHP will be publishing the English Journal,named “Hypertension Research”. We hope many colleagues submit the paper for publication in this journal.
